Help Students Plan Education After High School

Is your school part of the annual FAFSA Challenge? Engaging your school and students in a friendly competition to complete the FAFSA can increase the rates of completion…and result in more money going to your students for college!

Hosting College Decision Days is another way to recognize students for plans after high school and encourage other grade levels to work on their plans early. Such days may include:

  • Recognizing all students for their post-secondary plans, whether they are planning on attending 4-year college, 2-year college, technical school, or the military.
  • Holding the recognition in front of the entire student body to encourage younger students to start thinking about college. (This is easy to do virtually!)
  • Inviting members of the community to present as guest speakers to congratulate students.
  • Consider offering gift cards or raffling college-themed prizes.
